EVENT FAQ

Is there a registration fee?
No. Registration is free to all participants.

Is there a minimum fundraising amount?
No, there is no minimum amount that a participant is required to raise. However, by fundraising or donating $50 to your fundraising profile you will receive a limited-edition 36th Annual Mutt March t-shirt and bandana.

Are there prizes for fundraising?
Yes! Michigan Humane will be offering the following prizes for our fundraisers this year. Prizes will be distributed at event check-in.

  • Fundraisers who raise $50+ Mutt March t-shirt, bandana, gift bag
  • Fundraisers who raise $150+ Mutt March t-shirt, bandana, gift bag and 2 event food or drink ticket
  • Fundraisers who raise $500+ Mutt March t-shirt, bandana, gift bag and 2 event food or drink tickets and voucher for Michigan Humane Shop
  • Fundraisers who raise $1000+ Mutt March t-shirt, bandana, gift bag and 2 event food or drink ticket and voucher for Michigan Humane Shop and pet tag with engraving voucher from Rebel Nell.

Trophies will be awarded for Highest Fundraiser, Highest Fundraising Team, Highest Youth Fundraiser, and Highest Corporate Fundraiser. All gifts must be turned in by 10:00am on the Event day, May 18th to be counted towards our fundraising competition. The winner will be announced at the event!
*Trophies will be engraved and mailed to the winners after the event.

How do I get a t-shirt and bandana?
Fundraisers that raise over $50 can pick up their limited-edition 36th Annual Mutt March t-shirt and bandana on the day of Mutt March on May 18th at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House. If you would prefer to have your t-shirt and bandana mailed* to you, please email [email protected] with your address and information.
*Mailed items will be sent out the week following the event.

Do I register online?
Online registration is the most efficient way to get started. By registering online, you will have the option to donate or start a fundraising page. Once you do so, you will automatically receive emails with important event details and other updates.

Do I need to have a pet to participate?
No. All registrants are welcome – with or without a pet. Simply join us at the Ford House on May 18th to be part of the big day.

How should I mail my donation?
To help as many animals as possible, be sure to mail in offline donations to the address below with your personal information enclosed.

Can I still donate after Mutt March? 
Yes, you are welcome to donate after the event! Feel free to contact [email protected] with any other questions you may have regarding post-event donations.
